Senior Account Executive

Your new company

You will be joining a reputable and longestablished property development division within a major diversified conglomerate. The company is well recognised for its strong financial governance, structured corporate environment and high-quality development portfolio ranging from residential to mixeduse projects. As the business continues to grow, they are expanding their finance team with a dedicated Senior Account Executive to strengthen their financial accounting and payment control function.

Your new role

In this role, you will support the financial accounting operations and ensure accuracy and compliance in all payment-related processes. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Handling full sets of accounts, including month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Preparing and updating financial reports, management schedules and audit deliverables.
  • Reviewing payments, invoices, supporting documents and ensuring proper approval workflows in line with company policies.
  • Monitoring vendor accounts, staff claims, retention sums and project-related payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensuring all accounting entries comply with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Liaising with internal departments, auditors, tax agents and bankers where required.
  • Assisting in statutory reporting, tax computations and year-end audit preparations.
  • Supporting process improvements within financial accounting and payment operations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance; professional papers (ACCA/MICPA/CPA progression) are an advantage.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting, accounts payable, or general ledger roles-preferably within property development or construction.
  • Solid understanding of accounting entries, month-end closing, and payment processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in reviewing documents and supporting files.
  • Good proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (IFCA, SAP, JDE or similar preferred).
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and coordinate well across departments.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism and a proactive attitude.
