Job description:
Agensi Pekerjaan Phurewell is hiring on behalf of our client in the construction industry. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage full set accounts and support the company's financial operations.
Salary
Up to RM10,000 (Based on experience & qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts independently.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
- Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and financial reporting requirements.
- Monitor project costing and financial transactions related to construction projects.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support finance-related administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Professional qualification such as ACCA (completed or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience handling full set accounts.
- Construction industry experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and taxation.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
