Job Summary:**
The Senior Account Relationship Manager (Commercial) at RHB Bank Berhad is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients, fostering strong relationships, identifying their financial needs, and providing comprehensive banking solutions to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, including large corporations, SMEs, and institutional clients, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of clients businesses to understand their financial needs and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling RHB Bank's products and services, including corporate lending, trade finance, cash management, treasury, and investment products.
- Prepare and present credit proposals, financial analyses, and risk assessments to relevant credit committees, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate terms and conditions for credit facilities and other banking products, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the bank and the client.
- Actively prospect and acquire new commercial clients to expand the bank's market share and revenue streams.
- Collaborate with product specialists and other internal departments to deliver integrated and customized financial solutions to clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting the commercial banking sector.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on client portfolio performance, sales activities, and pipeline management.
- Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) guidelines.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior relationship managers as required.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in commercial banking relationship management, with a proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients.
- Strong understanding of corporate lending, trade finance, cash management, treasury products, and other commercial banking solutions.
- Excellent credit analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and effectively negotiate complex financial transactions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and profitability targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
