Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant supports all areas of the business in forecasting, reporting and financial analysis. This role serves as a key support to the APAC Finance Analytics Manager, focusing on financial data extraction, report preparation, and coordination with country finance teams across the region. The position is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and consistent financial reporting, while providing analytical support to the regional function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and validate financial data from multiple systems and country submissions
- Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packs, templates, and analysis files
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data across all reports
- Perform variance analysis and follow up with country finance teams to investigate and resolve variances or discrepancies
- Coordinate with APAC country teams to ensure timely submission and alignment of data
- Maintain and enhance Excel-based reporting files, templates, and trackers
- Support development and maintenance of dashboards (Power BI) and reporting tools
- Handle ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical support as needed
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or analytics support
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large data handling)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP or similar)
- Experience working in a regional or multinational environment preferred
