Requirements
- Solid understanding of intermediate accounting principles and practices.
- Hands on experience in internal controls, corporate policies, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and finance systems.
- Familiarity with project coordination and performance indicators such as CVA/NOVA.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Good knowledge of local statutory accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support the improvement of finance processes, systems, controls, and procedures for the assigned department or business unit.
- Build understanding of the company's structure, operations, and industry environment.
- Prepare, review, and resolve complex accounting matters, reports, reconciliations, and control-related issues.
- Process or review journal entries and related accounting transactions.
- Monitor financial activities to ensure correctness and timely completion.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and explain key movements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve finance and accounting matters.
- Assist in management reporting, financial analysis, and preparation of business reports.
- Review commercial proposals, business cases, and contract terms during tender submissions.
- Gain exposure to team coordination and basic supervisory responsibilities as part of career development.
