Responsible for all accounting aspects of sales, cost of sales, and other related accounts for assigned customer contracts/operating facilities including invoicing, posting of journal entries, analyzing reports, and completing balance sheet account reconciliations.
Initiate contract setup in SAP to facilitate billing and administer contract in accordance with agreed terms.
Collaborate with business, operations, and other finance teams on contract intent/interpretation, technical accounting issues, and results analysis.
Identify root cause and drive process improvements to rectify errors and process gaps.
Work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Identify and escalate accounting issues timely.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance (or equivalent)
Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA or equivalent)
At least 5 years of accounting or audit experience with a multinational company; SAP knowledge is a plus
Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
Self-motivated team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills, and high ethical standards
Experience in reading and interpreting contract terms and conditions preferred
Strong written and verbal English language skills required
