Job Description

Responsibilities:

Manage full sets of multiple dormant accounts and oversee month-end/year-end closing.
Manage local & overseas vendors and salary payments.
Perform daily bank balance monitoring and monitor cash flow for optimal fund allocation into FD.
Work collaboratively with the vendors/requestors to resolve financial accounting related matters.
Verify the accuracy and sufficiency of documents from vendors to support smooth financial operations.
Manage foreign currency transactions to minimize exchange losses.
Coordinate with banks to facilitate international wire transfers and other banking operations.
To perform other ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements and skills:

Preferably ACCA/CIMA/CPA & MIA members, with at least 5 years of experience
Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Hands-on experience with accounting software Xero is an advantage
Proficiency in Accounting Software, Google Suite
Good communication skills - Fluent in English, Malay and Mandarin languages preferred.
Good to have : regional accounting experience.
Quick to adapt and flexible, open to learning new skills, a team player who can also be independent when required
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Able to work remotely
