Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accuracy of entries.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate reporting.
- Monitor and analyse financial data to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Support the implementation of financial controls and process improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Accountant Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Experience in handling audits and tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
