Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide financial reports and insights to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and oversee tax reporting and filing.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Accountant Should Have
- A recognised degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Experience in managing financial processes and preparing financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
