Job Description
- Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and address audit queries.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in financial system implementation or upgrades as required.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Accountant Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in tax compliance and audit processes.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.
