Senior Accountant (MUST have retail experience)

Accountant Job Opportunity for Luxury watch brand

We are actively looking for Accountant/ Senior Accountant for an international watch brand in Singapore, my client is doing very well globally and has double-digit growth in sales revenue vs last year. Key responsibilities:

• Mainly responsible for AR/AP/IC transactions of South East Asia region
• Follow the instruction from Accountant to support daily finance & clerical work
• Assist in annual statutory audit
• Perform ad hoc assignments when required

Candidate requirements:

• With min 3 years of relevant retail experience in luxury brand, high -end fashion, jewellery and watch retailing industry or in similar capacity
• Direct experience or strong familiarity working with financial operations in Singapore and Taiwan markets (preferred). Experience overseeing multi -entity reporting
• Experience in handling full sets of accounts, monthly financial reporting and cashflow forecasting
• Knowledge of fixed asset management and asset tracking
• Familiar with GST/ VAT, withholding taxand corporate tax compliance requirements across Singapore and Taiwan
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills, able to work with cross-border teamand independentlymanage task
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandar
