Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

This role is to support and manage United States, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka month-end and year-end closes for both US and local GAAP accounts and ensures accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

:

1. Financial Reporting : Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
2. General Ledger & Reconciliations : Manage the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
3. Audit Compliance : Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare schedules, and ensure compliance with accounting standards
4. Cash flow forecasting
5. Ensuring day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts and accounts receivable are recorded properly.

Requirements

:

1. At least 5 years experience in manufacturing field
2. Master's degree in accounting or equivalent
3. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
4. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
5. Hands-on experience with accounting software packages Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP is preferred
6. Experience on Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) will be added advantage
7. Able to support partial US working hours overlap, around 3-6 hours during month-end closing
