We Are Looking For

As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and operations. The Senior Accountant should be business savvy, have an innovative mindset and strong stakeholder management skills.

Your Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting and operations, including timely month end closing and reporting
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
  • Coordinate with the local accounting/payroll service provider for the day-to-day transactions and ensure all transactions are properly recorded & accounted for
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cash flow management
  • Support the year end audit processes and tax compliance matters
  • Liaise with government authorities e.g. Custom, Inland Revenue etc.
  • Manage the FA register including CIP
  • Maintain the open PO status report on weekly basis
  • Engage with stakeholders to follow up on supplier invoices and ensure timely processing
  • Issue sales invoices, send to customers and monitor outstanding receivables

Qualities You Should Have

  • Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
  • Hands on and at least 5 years in full sets or relevant working experience
  • Oracle Netsuite experience will be an added advantage
  • Experience in Big Four will be an added advantage
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and ability to work independently as well as in a team
