Senior Accounts Executive

Job Scope

• Handle the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Process vendor payments, issue invoice and update customer collections, staff claims, and other financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and account balances.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Assist in tax-related matters, including SST, withholding tax, corporate tax schedules, and other regulatory submissions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using the accounting system and Microsoft Excel.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager or Head of Finance.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is an advantage).
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience handling full set accounts.
• Open for candidates from any industry, including auditors who are willing to do hands-on routine job.
• Experience in the construction, engineering, renewable energy, or project-based industry is an advantage.
