About the Role
The Senior AP Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality invoice processing, payment readiness, and vendor support across multiple APAC markets. This role handles complex cases, leads issue resolution, supports junior analysts, and ensures strong compliance and service delivery within a fast-paced GBS environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Process and validate invoices (PO/Non-PO) accurately in SAP and OnBase.
· Perform 3-way matching and resolve GRIR/PO/PR discrepancies with Procurement and operations teams.
· Review payment readiness and support weekly payment proposal activities.
· Handle complex vendor queries, escalation cases, and aging items.
· Support T&E audit tasks (if in scope) and ensure policy compliance.
· Assist in clearing blocked invoices, duplicates, unmatched items, and approval delays.
· Provide guidance and on-the-job coaching to junior analysts.
· Support month-end AP reporting, accruals, and reconciliations.
· Maintain SOPs, participate in internal/external audits, and ensure SOX compliance.
· Drive process improvement initiatives and support digital automation efforts.
Qualifications
· Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
· 3–5 years of Accounts Payable / P2P experience in a Shared Services/GBS environment.
· Strong SAP knowledge (MIRO, MIR7, FBL1N, MRBR) and familiarity with workflow tools such as OnBase.
· Good understanding of payment processes, GRIR management, and vendor master data.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to manage high volumes, tight timelines, and multi-country operations.
· High attention to detail, accountability, and customer-centric mindset.
