We are looking for an Advertising Team Lead to drive end-to-end marketing output across social, campaigns, and content. This role owns how the brand shows up, how campaigns convert, and how narratives scale across channels. You will lead a cross-functional team across Social Media, Community & Campaign, and Copywriting on aligning strategy with execution to deliver measurable growth, not just content.
Responsibilities:
1. Campaign & Growth Ownership
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated campaigns (online + offline)
- Translate business objectives into marketing campaigns with clear KPIs (reach, engagement, conversion)
- Drive performance optimisation across all marketing funnels
- Work closely with Account Managers to understand client objectives, identify underlying pain points, and translate them into effective campaign strategies, clear recommendations, and actionable solutions.
2. Social & Content Direction
- Set direction for all social media platforms (X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Oversee content strategy, formats, and consistency across channels
- Ensure content is aligned with brand positioning and campaign goals
- Push for high-performing formats (short-form video, narratives, KOL integration)
3. Community & Engagement Strategy
- Guide community growth and engagement strategy
- Ensure community initiatives support campaign objectives (not just activity)
- Align offline activations, events, and digital engagement into one ecosystem
- Build audience-to-user conversion pathways
4. Copy & Narrative Leadership
- Own brand voice, messaging frameworks, and campaign narratives
- Lead copywriting direction across ads, social, decks, and campaigns
- Ensure messaging is clear, differentiated, and commercially effective
- Raise the standard of all outward-facing communication
5. Team Leadership & Output Management
- Ensure clear roles, accountability, and delivery timelines
- Review and approve key outputs (campaigns, content, messaging)
- Build a high-performance, execution-focused team culture
6. Performance & Reporting
- Track and report on campaign performance across channels
- Optimise based on data (CTR, engagement, conversion, CAC where applicable)
- Provide actionable insights, not just reports
Requirements
- 3–5 years in advertising / marketing / campaign roles
- Background in advertising agency or campaign-driven environments is mandatory.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver results under pressure.
- Ability to run campaigns independently.
- Mandarin speaker preferred to communicate and review mandarin content. Ability to write not necessary.
- Strong commercial thinking and understands marketing as a growth function, not just branding.
- Experience in Web3 / tech / startup environments is a plus (but not mandatory)
