Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
· Proven hands-on experience in AI, data science, or digital transformation, with strong technical depth in delivering real-world AI solutions.
· Hands-on experience with machine learning, generative AI, NLP, and predictive analytics platforms.
· Proven experience designing, building, and deploying conversational AI agents and chatbots using enterprise platforms (Microsoft AI Stacks).
· Strong familiarity with financial services and/or maritime/energy industries.
· Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, policies and guardrails
· Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, vibe coding.
· Understanding on agentic AI concept
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
SCOPE OF WORK
· To serve as a AI enabler in accelerating MISC's AI journey, spearheading AI literacy across the enterprise, providing independent oversight of ongoing AI projects and initiatives, and acting as the primary liaison with third-party system integrators.
· AI Literacy & Capability Building: Design and execute an organisation-wide AI literacy programme covering the C-suite, finance, operations, and technical teams. Develop structured learning pathways tailored to MISC's maritime and financial context. Establish an internal AI community of practice.
· Autonomous AI Agents & Chatbot Architecture: Development of sophisticated, multi-turn conversational interfaces and goal-oriented agents capable of executing complex workflows.
· Technical Integration & Deployment: Ensuring AI solutions are production-ready, secure, and integrated into the existing corporate ecosystem.
· AI Policy, Guardrails & Governance: Draft and establish the organisation's AI usage policy. Design and implement AI guardrails including input/output filtering, prompt safety controls, content moderation standards, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
· Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all AI initiatives comply with Malaysian digital economy regulations, financial sector guidelines (BNM, SC), and international standards (e.g., EU AI Act principles, ISO/IEC 42001). Report on AI programme status, risks, and value realisation.
Documentation: Produce regular thought-leadership content (briefings, playbooks, toolkits) and maintain comprehensive documentation of AI governance frameworks, policies, and programme outcomes
