We are seeking a talented individual to join our
General Accounting team at
Marsh. This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.
Senior Analyst, Finance (Billing)
We will count on you to:
- Oversee the end-to-end billing process to ensure accuracy and completeness of all billing activities, while maintaining clear and precise communication with stakeholders to ensure accurate invoicing and billing.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to clarify and resolve billing related queries.
- Performing weekly reconciliation report for panel vendors.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor the AR cycle and deadlines to ensure timely processing, perform AR closing activities and prepare month end reports accurately within the established timeframe.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all audits and invoice documentation. To ensure all audit requests are attended, reviewed, and ensure completeness, accurate and on a timely basis.
- Exhibiting professionalism, and responsiveness in all communications with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate consistent adherence to company policies and procedures related to the AR process
What you need to have:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent. Professionally Qualified Accountants are encouraged to apply
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in billing and AR reporting in a Shared Service or Insurance environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel Proficiency
- Effective communication with clients regarding overdue payments, payment plans, and resolving payment disputes.
- High level of attention to detail when reconciling accounts, reviewing invoices, and analyzing AR data.
- Able to handle multiple deadlines at the same time
- Integrity and risks awareness, i.e. understands risk impacts and be able to escalate appropriately
- Should be open to support on public holidays (weekdays only) during month end closing
