Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and maintaining actuarial pricing models.
- Performing sense-checks and validating proposed actuarial pricing assumptions and bases.
- Reviewing and validating outputs from pricing models, including premium rates, surrender values, and key financial metrics.
- Reviewing customer-facing materials and Product Specification Documents (PSDs).
- Ensuring timely completion of product reviews for all assigned products within agreed timelines.
Directly support Local Business Units (LBUs) in:
- Developing and documenting actuarial pricing models, and recommending appropriate pricing methodologies where required.
- Producing premium rates, surrender values, paid-up values, and other customer-related product outputs.
- Generating required product financial metrics and conducting sensitivity analysis.
- Preparing presentation materials and communicating findings to various stakeholders.
- Preparing pricing documentation and reports for regulatory submission.
- Completing customer-facing documentation and PSDs.
- Delivering assigned LBU products and related materials within established timelines.
Core Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an actuarial function, including at least 3 years in a pricing role.
- Associate qualification from a recognized actuarial professional body.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
