As the Cards Development Lead, you will work closely with stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecyclefrom inception, analysis, and design through development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Your primary goal is to ensure high-quality, seamless delivery of card technology system enhancements that fully align with required frameworks and guidelines. The role includes overseeing technical project delivery with an end-to-end perspective, managing requirements, actively contributing to design and development, coordinating testing activities, and planning for deployment and ongoing support.
Job Description :
- Possess strong knowledge of Cardlink and card product systems, with the ability to prepare technical specifications, perform code development, support project deployments, and manage the full SDLC process.
- Drive the delivery of high-quality card system designs while ensuring compliance with global architecture standards, enterprise design principles, and security and control requirements.
- Develop the team's capability to maintain an up-to-date repository of system feature inventories and data maps for the cards domain.
- Plan technical deliverablesincluding enhancements and system upgradesto meet project requirements within the approved budget and timeline.
- Collaborate across application teams to manage and align technical dependencies within the solution.
- Identify, monitor, and manage risks and issues related to technical delivery.
- Lead and contribute to innovative problem-solving efforts, employing conceptual thinking to develop creative, prototype-driven, and pilot-ready solutions.
- Work closely with Architects to ensure solution designs adhere to enterprise design principles, security guidelines, and control standards.
- Partner with the Development Manager to guide application teams in building enhancements.
- Partner with the Test Manager to ensure successful completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load testing, and application security testing with high-quality outcomes.
- Oversee the technical implementation plan across application teams, coordinating activities to ensure smooth production cutovers and sufficient post-deployment support.
Requirements :
- At least 8 years of technical delivery end to end experience.
- Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience
- Hands-on experience on Mainframe, Cardlink.
- Hands-on experience in Cobol, CICS, JCL
- Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation
- Good understanding and experience in software development cycle
- Good to have knowledge on the tool like Endevor, File-Aid, Abend-Aid, Expediter.
