About CMA CGM FICOM (Finance Corporate Office Malaysia)
Located at Wisma Consplant 2, Subang Jaya, FICOM is an extension of the Finance Corporate Division of the CMA CGM Group. About the Role
Support Treasury operations, reporting and governance activities for CMA CGM HO Treasury and the Singapore Corporate Office, encompassing cash repatriation, cash management, debt management, bank guarantees, process improvement initiatives, and other Treasury activities as required by business needs.
KeyResultAreas
- Perform Treasury functions under the Debt Management & Reporting department including the Singapore Corporate office.
- Ensure individual KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
- Ensure the Treasury reports are prepared accurately and submitted within established timelines.
- Process Treasury transactions accurately in Kyriba and bank portals while maintaining compliance with internal controls and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and ensure timely resolution or escalation of issues to supervisor.
- Support Treasury projects, process improvements, automation initiatives, and business continuity requirements.
Key Accountabilities/Duties:
Cash Management and Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely daily and weekly Cash Position reports for ARO Treasury, Regional Office, and HO Treasury.
- Monitor and analyze cash balance movements, variances, funding requirements, remittance status, and cash repatriation opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize cash utilization, reduce excess cash balances, and support cash repatriation initiatives.
- Liaise with stakeholders to obtain timely and accurate information for cash reporting and analysis.
- Maintain compliant Treasury reports and updated bank account listings.
Loan Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan schedules, including loan amendments, repayments, and new borrowings.
- Ensure timely loan repayments and proactively follow up on outstanding items.
- Verify loan data against supporting agreements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy in Kyriba.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual loan reports for ARO Treasury.
Bank Charges and Bank Guarantees
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Bank Charges report in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyze bank charges, investigate significant variances with Local Finance, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly Bank Guarantee report in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyze variances in bank guarantees, identifying any discrepancies or unusual changes.
- Liaise with Local Finance and relevant stakeholders to obtain explanations and supporting documents for variances.
- Manage the creation, renewal, amendment, and discharge of bank guarantees in accordance with business requirements.
- Verify the accuracy of bank guarantee fees calculation and related payments.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure all bank guarantee documentation is complete, accurate and maintained up to date.
Fixed Deposits and FX Transactions
- Process and record daily fixed deposit and foreign exchange (FX) transactions in Kyriba, ensuring accuracy and completeness against the bank documentation.
- Liaise with the Head Office Middle Office to resolve any discrepancies between Kyriba records and bank documents.
- Communicate and confirm fixed deposit placements, maturities, and FX rate acceptances with banks in accordance with Treasury procedures.
Bareboat Charter and Leasing
- Verify that bareboat charter and operating lease invoices match the entries in Kyriba.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between Kyriba records and invoices details with the Head Office Middle Office.
- Ensure supporting documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with Treasury requirements.
Business Support, Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Support Treasury operations, projects, continuous improvement, and business continuity needs, while assisting with ad hoc assignments and workload balancing across Treasury functions based on business priorities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Business Administration or related discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with SAP and Treasury Management System is an advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external parties, including IT personnel, Finance Controllers, auditors and corporate accounting staff
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Dedicated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
