About the Role
The Senior Android Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and responsiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work closely with UX/UI teams to implement smooth, user-friendly interfaces
- Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data from backend services
- Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards
- Monitor app performance and resolve bugs/issues promptly
Qualifications/Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Android development (Java/Kotlin)
- Proficiency in Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Google Play ecosystem
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries (Retrofit, Dagger, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of healthcare applications or experience in telehealth platforms
- Exposure to mobile analytics and performance monitoring tools
- Problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
