Senior AS400 Hardware And Systems Support Engineer

This is an on-site contract role for a Senior AS400 Hardware and Systems Support Engineer, based in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves ensuring the optimal performance of AS400 hardware and systems, designing and maintaining system architecture, troubleshooting hardware and system issues, and implementing solutions to maintain high availability and performance. The successful candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage software upgrades, and offer systems engineering support as required.

• Expertise in Hardware and related maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Systems Design and Systems Engineering processes.
• Knowledge in Circuit Design and Analog systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
• Proven experience with AS400 system administration is highly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment in Kuala Lumpur.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and standards related to system integration and maintenance.
• Experience working within industries such as Oil & Gas, BFSI, or Manufacturing is a plus.
