Job Description

We are seeking for passionate hands-on HR Generalist to join the CX People and Culture (P&C) team. This role partners with HR Business Partners (HRBP) to manage complex people topics or matters. This role suits a curious and self-initiated individual who thrives on solving real, day-to-day people's challenges. The role partners closely with CX leaders, to navigate complex employment situations with sound judgment and ensure consistent practices across the organisation. The ideal candidate will support overall CX goals and objectives through targeted interventions, a future organisation mindset, and a holistic talent view.

What You'll Do

  • Case Management (End-to-End): Manage all employee relations cases from initiation to resolution, including investigations, fact-finding, comprehensive documentation, and final case resolution.
  • Issue Resolution: Independently handle a diverse range of complex employee matters, such as misconduct, absenteeism, performance concerns, formal grievances, and workplace conflicts.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Proactively audit HR practices, policies, and operational processes (e.g., timekeeping, leave management, shift schedules) to ensure the organization remains fully compliant with the Employment Act 1955 and other relevant local labor laws.
  • Manager Partnership & Guidance: Uplift Manager capabilities in managing complex ER issues, proactively identifying early interventions to improve performance.
  • Documentation: Draft, review, and finalize key documentation, including show cause letters, warning letters, and detailed investigation summaries.
  • Complex Support: Collaborate closely with the HRBP and relevant stakeholders on all high-risk or complex IR/ER cases.
  • Step out of own box to support in other P&C OKRs where required

What You'll Need

  • 5 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrably strong exposure to employee matters and HR operations.
  • Proven ability to handle ER/IR cases independently from start to finish.
  • Good understanding of the Employment Act 1955 and specific local labour practices.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to balance business needs and risk while delivering practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated high level of discretion and professionalism when managing sensitive and confidential employee matters.
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds and in different time zones
