Job Description

Purpose of Job

We are looking for talent who manages the support of day-to-day Employee Benefits (Business Development) services. As a Business Development Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operation Support

  • Act as a compliance liaison, including KYC verification, and review of NDAs and other related agreements.
  • Review Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Scope of Work (SOW) documents to meet tender requirements and client expectations (local, regional, and global).
  • Prepare, coordinate, and consolidate tender documentation.
  • Prepare placement slips / broking slips for newly secured clients.
  • Liaise with the processing (billing) team to facilitate account setup and billing for new business.
  • Prepare comprehensive handover notes prior to transferring newly secured accounts to the servicing team.
  • Enhance and maintain market benchmark reports.
  • Monitor and manage leads from the Employee Benefits website and Instapol platform.
  • Generate quotations for SME clients.
  • Enhance and maintain Business Development (BD) proposal templates.
  • Manage and administer EFMS matters related to the BD function.
  • Consolidate and maintain the BD tracker on a weekly basis.
  • Support other ad-hoc duties related to the BD team, including claims analysis review and proposal drafting for prospective clients.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant company and/or group policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and correspondence.

Representing the Company

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in insurance, business management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in a similar field.
  • Preferably possess professional insurance qualification and sound knowledge of insurance coverage and market trends.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Communication skills – English (both written and oral)
  • Good interpersonal skill and problem-solving abilities
