In line with our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented, driven, and committed lawyers to join our Dispute Resolution Practice Group to take leading roles in our Employment and Industrial Relations practice area. This position will be based out of our KL Office but the successful candidate must be prepared to travel for work.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years PQE in Corporate Banking from a reputable law firm, with real estate (non-project) experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with subsales, banking and finance documentation and security structures. Exposure to commercial agreements is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Land Code 2020 and Companies Act 2026.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator with good client relationship management and business development.
  • Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple transactions concurrently.
  • Prior experience mentoring junior team members is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a hands-on role in corporate banking and real estate transactions, supporting partners in transaction execution and ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate banking documentation, security agreements, sale and purchase agreements and commercial agreements as assigned by partners.
  • Draft legal opinions.
  • Supervise junior team members and coordinate multiple matters concurrently.
  • Act as a direct support role to partners, involving strategic discussions and firm's business development related matters.
  • Be prompt in responding to client inquiries and proactive in providing updates on case progress.
