About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and future-focused Senior Associate to join the Group Strategy team at RHB Banking Group. Operating at a senior individual contributor level, you will play a key role in shaping and driving strategic innovation initiatives across the Group. This role involves working cross-functionally with business leaders and external partners to identify opportunities, test new ideas, and scale impactful solutionspositioning RHB to thrive in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of innovation projects, from opportunity assessment to prototyping and execution
- Conduct deep research and analysis on industry trends, emerging technologies, evolving customer needs, and competitive dynamics
- Facilitate strategic ideation sessions, co-creation workshops, and pilot programs with business units and partners
- Develop and present business cases, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for selected innovation initiatives
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to navigate governance, compliance, and risk requirements
- Build partnerships with fintechs, accelerators, academic institutions, and technology providers to source and test innovative solutions
- Track KPIs and report performance insights for innovation projects to senior management
- Champion a culture of innovation through capability-building, knowledge-sharing, and engagement initiatives across the Group
What We're Looking For
- 710 years of experience in innovation, corporate strategy, consulting, product development, or digital transformation, preferably within financial services
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage
- Proven track record leading innovation projects or strategic initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and project leadership capabilities
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Design Thinking, Agile, Lean Startup, and Business Model Canvas
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
- Passionate about driving change, embracing emerging technologies, and delivering customer-centric solutions
