We are seeking a meticulous Software Tester to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our Laravel PHP-based web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, validating new features, and collaborating with developers to maintain high-quality software standards and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Laravel PHP applications based on functional and technical requirements.
  
• Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, focusing on functionality, usability, performance, security, and compatibility.
  
• Identify, document, and communicate defects clearly and effectively, working closely with the development team for timely resolution.
  
• Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and new feature integrations.
  
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand application features and workflows.
  
• Ensure adherence to coding and testing standards in line with best practices for Laravel PHP development.
  
• Track software quality metrics and KPIs, reporting on quality status to stakeholders.
  
• Validate security features and help ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks related to Laravel PHP applications.
  
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback related to quality concerns.
  
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and testing methodologies specific to PHP and Laravel.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• Proven experience as a QC Engineer, QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role in a Laravel PHP development environment.
  
• Strong understanding of Laravel PHP framework and MVC architecture.
  
• Experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs.
  
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., PHPUnit, Selenium, Cypress, Laravel Dust) is a strong plus.
  
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience testing applications that use relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  
• Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs.
  
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  
• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and documentation.
  
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  
  

• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or Quality Assurance.
  
• Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
  
• Prior experience in performance testing and load testing of web applications.
