Job Description
Assist in statutory audits for a portfolio of SME clients across various industries
Prepare audit working papers and perform audit testing procedures
Support in the drafting of financial statements
Communicate with clients to gather information and documentation required for audit purposes
Complete assigned tasks on time and to a high standard of quality
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Pursuing or have begun a professional qualification — ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MICPA; membership with a professional accounting body is encouraged
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in audit/accounting firm
Basic understanding of MFRS/MPERS and audit procedures is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Experience in an SME firm environment is an advantage
