Senior Auditor (Australian Clients)

Global Remote Partners is looking for a Senior Auditor to join our growing team!

Work Arrangement: 100% Work From Office

Working Hours: Australian business hours (Malaysia time) – start earlier and finish earlier, giving you more time for your personal life.

About The Role

As a Senior Auditor, you will work closely with Australian clients, delivering high-quality external audit services while collaborating with a professional and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute external audit engagements for Australian clients.
  • Plan, perform, and complete audit assignments in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
  • Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit documentation.
  • Assess business processes, identify audit risks, and evaluate internal controls.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management.
  • Ensure audit engagements are delivered on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor junior auditors.
  • Maintain compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and firm methodologies.
  • Requirements
  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA, or an equivalent accounting certification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of External Audit experience.
  • Mandatory: Previous experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience managing audit engagements from planning through completion.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and audit-related software.
  • Able to manage multiple engagements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
