Role and responsibilities
- Review and analyze business and functional requirements to develop relevant and comprehensive automated test cases.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of QA methodologies, various testing types, and the overall software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated build systems, tools, and scripts to support continuous testing and delivery.
- Implement and continuously improve CI pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of automated testing and deployment processes.
- Perform QA activities including estimation, test planning and design, test execution, defect reporting, and results analysis specific to automation testing
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Redmine) is a plus.
- Practical experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Katalon Studio, Playwright, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience in build automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance (e.g., Jenkins).
- Experience in Fintech industry
