ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases.
- Perform various related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management.
- Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for the modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
- Expected to perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Required to actively participate and contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime
- Conduct regular database backups and implement disaster recovery plans
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database administration
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 6+ years experience in Python programming and automation scripting.
- Hands-on experience with the Pytest automation framework.
- Experience in Windows Desktop Automation using Pywinauto/UI Automation (UIA).
- Strong experience in enterprise automation framework development and maintenance.
- Experience in test automation framework design, development, and maintenance.
- Strong experience in API testing and backend validation.
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control.
- Experience in PowerShell scripting and Windows environment troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Repositories, Pipelines, and YAML pipeline configuration.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS, particularly S3 and Lambda.
- Experience validating Power BI reports and data.
- Experience in mobile application functional and regression testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
