In this role, you will serve as a technical expert, working closely with multiple project teams to guide strategic decisions, improve automation maturity, and ensure consistently high standards of quality across web and API platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation, enhancement, and execution of automated testing frameworks for both web interfaces and API-based systems.
- Transform manual and traditional testing approaches into efficient, continuous quality engineering processes using current tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Influence team decisions around automation strategy, framework selection, and test design approaches.
- Coach and support team members in improving automation capability, technical execution, and engineering discipline.
- Develop innovative testing strategies that elevate overall QA effectiveness and automation adoption.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Review and assess test outputs, pinpoint gaps, and propose actionable solutions to strengthen product quality.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new automation and performance testing technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills:
- Strong practical experience in automated testing for web and API solutions.
- Hands-on proficiency with automation tools such as: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Experience in performance testing using tools like: K6, JMeter, or comparable platforms.
- Solid coding fundamentals and sound knowledge of testing principles and structured test design.
- Experience developing automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD environments is advantageous.
