Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior AWS Architect to lead architecture and delivery of robust, secure, and scalable AWS-based solutions. This role partners with engineering, data, and business teams to define strategic architectures, transform legacy platforms, and build advanced data capabilities spanning batch/realtime pipelines, API-oriented integrations, governance controls, and analytics at enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design Lead AWS architecture across ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and analytics. Design batch/streaming pipelines and lakehouse/EDW patterns; optimize Redshift and Snowflake.
• Delivery Guide crossfunctional teams through design to deployment; ensure quality, security, and cost control. Drive lowrisk migrations from legacy/onprem to AWS.
• Integration Promote APIfirst and eventdriven architectures using API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, and Lambda.
• Governance & Security Define governance, lineage, IAM, encryption, compliance, monitoring, and observability practices.
• Stakeholder Leadership Convert business goals into architecture plans; manage tradeoffs across cost, performance, and speed.
• Standards Build reusable patterns, IaC governance, and CI/CD frameworks.

Skills And Experience

1. Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (e.g., MCA).
2. Seasoned IT expert with proven experience with AWS architecture and leadership of multicloud or hybrid programs.
3. Skilled in Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, S3, Glue, Kinesis, Redshift, and CloudWatch.
4. Strong data engineering backgroundDW modeling (EDW, star schema, data vault) and batch/stream pipelines.
5. Handson with Redshift, Snowflake, MongoDB, Teradata, Oracle.
6. Proficient in Python, SQL, and UNIX scripting.
7. Experience with governance tools (Glue Data Catalog, Apache Atlas) and CI/CD platforms.
8. Preferred: GCP exposure, Ab Initio, Databricks, Tableau, data modeling tools, and domain experience across telecom, real estate, consumer products, Financial Services, Business Intelligence Programs.
