Job Title: Senior BE Developer (L3 Support)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to provide Level 3 (L3) support for Digital Banking applications and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend development expertise in Java-based technologies, experience in production support environments, and the ability to troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain mission-critical banking systems. The role requires close collaboration with application support teams, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability, performance, and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3 production support for Digital Banking applications and backend services.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents and system issues.
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions for recurring issues.
Support application deployment, patching, and release activities across multiple environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, database, middleware, and business support teams.
Optimize application performance and database queries in Oracle environments.
Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, and management updates.
Participate in on-call support and critical issue escalation handling when required.
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards within banking systems.
Required Skills:
6-9 years of experience in backend development and production support within Digital Banking or enterprise applications.
Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, XML, and SQL.
Experience working with Oracle databases and query optimization.
Familiarity with operating systems such as HPUX, Linux, and Solaris.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Experience supporting high-availability enterprise applications in production environments.
Good understanding of application lifecycle management and incident management processes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Camel (CXF), Spring Batch, JavaScript, JSP, Unix Scripting, and WebLogic Portal.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
Experience in management reporting and operational metrics reporting.
Knowledge of banking systems, middleware integration, and enterprise service architecture.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools for production support environments.
