The Senior Billing Executive oversees the Billing KL Hub: Bill Enquiries and Split Billing, as well as investigations and reconciliation activities. The role oversees the support for Consumer Operations by investigating and resolving customer enquiries and complaints. Acting as Team Lead, this position guides the team in assisting Account Managers with managing corporate customer requirements, complaints, and enquiries. Additionally, the Senior Billing Executive serves as a Subject Matter Expert, providing billing advice to various internal stakeholders.

Make an Impact by:

Consumer and Corporate Support

  • Lead the team in managing Corporate Customers requirements, including explaining/ educating the Account Managers on processes, requirements, system limitations and workaround.
  • Lead the team in managing consumer customers enquiries/ complaints and investigating of error.
  • Investigate irregularities detected and resolve operational issues and feedback brought to the team's attention with necessary escalation to the Manager/ Director. Work closely with the Billing Error team should a mass error is found.
  • Ensure billing functions are executed within the stipulated deadlines or/and customer's specifications
  • Work independently, manage tight schedules and manage Amdocs/ Accenture/ IT to ensure that they are efficient in resolving incidents raised.
  • Ensure documentation on operation processes & procedures are properly updated, maintained and available for use.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping of documents for reference and audit purposes.

Process Improvement

  • Review processes, identify gaps and recommend enhancement within the area to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Support digital transformation, involve in digitalisation projects and automation of work processes using RPA/ Power automate/ Phyton/ Macro, etc.
  • Constantly seek out and harness technology and automation to deliver solutions to enhance user experience.
  • Project leader for any enhancement and RPA project.

Supervisory & Training

  • Lead, support and motivate team leads and members to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Provide comprehensive training to team members and reporting staff for succession planning and back-up.
  • Cover Manager to manage Consumer and Corporate support matters during her absence.
  • Any other projects/ duties assigned by the Manager.

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ IT/ Business or equivalent.
  • Preferably minimum3-5 years working experience for billing system with the experience of leading a team.
  • Preferably minimum 1-2 years of exposure to Automation tools UI Path, Power Automate, Python, SQL.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills, eye for detail, meticulous and digital savvy.
  • Possess effective communication skills to deal with stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership quality, proactive and a team player.
  • Able to write and communicate clearly in English.
