We are hiring a Capital Markets Business Analyst – OMS & Trading Platforms to join an established international financial institution supporting its Wealth and Capital Markets technology platforms.
This role is suited to an experienced BA with strong knowledge of Order Management Systems, trading platforms, and front-to-back trade lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Analyse end-to-end order and trade flows, from order capture and execution through booking, settlement, reporting, and portfolio updates
- Work closely with Product Owners, Front Office, Operations, Engineering, Testing, Compliance, and Risk teams
- Identify workflow gaps, operational risks, controls, and opportunities for process improvement
- Support UAT, defect management, release preparation, implementation, and post-release validation
- Assess system and data impacts across trading and investment platforms
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of IT experience within financial services
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience across Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, or trading technology
- Hands-on exposure to OMS, trading systems, investment platforms, or trade lifecycle platforms
- Strong understanding of order capture, validation, execution, booking, settlement, and reporting
- Experience with Equities is advantageous; exposure to Fixed Income, FX, Structured Products, or Funds is also relevant
- Good understanding of system workflows, integrations, APIs, and data flows
- Exposure to FIX, SWIFT, trade messaging, market data, or trading controls is an advantage
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SQL, or similar tools
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
