We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive / Senior Executive, Broking to join our growing General Insurance team in Malaysia. This role is ideal for individuals with strong technical knowledge of general insurance products and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Job Summary
Manage and service general insurance clients by providing tailored solutions, coordinating with insurers, and ensuring smooth policy administration. Ideal for a detail-oriented, client-focused professional with knowledge of the Malaysian insurance market.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in executing the Branch/Business Unit's Business Plan.
- Drive profitable growth across the target business portfolio to achieve Business Unit and overall company objectives.
- Ensure effective implementation and strict adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, guidelines, and credit control standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries and customers to reinforce the company's preferred partner status.
- Conduct risk assessments for renewal cases within the Broking Department's limits, in line with company guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines and internal policies
- Mentor junior executives where applicable
Requirements
- Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, or related field
- 2 - 3 years working experience in insurance broking or underwriting
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian insurance market and products
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Professional certification (AMII, DMII, ANZIIF) is an added advantage
- Ability to manage multiple accounts independently
