About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Executive to drive strategic growth within the downstream Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors. Based in either Johor or Melaka, you will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and securing high-value business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry connections, commercial acumen, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth while building long-term relationships with asset owners, project owners, and key stakeholders.
What You Will Do
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Identify emerging market opportunities and new customer segments.
- Develop and execute business entry strategies for high-potential clients.
Sales Origination & Pipeline Management
- Qualify commercial opportunities and manage the full sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and market intelligence.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, asset owners, and key decision-makers.
Proposal Development
- Prepare and present compelling business cases and commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
Account Growth
- Drive account penetration through cross-selling and up-selling initiatives.
- Identify opportunities across multiple technical solutions and service offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with technical and project teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of Business Development experience within the downstream Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
- Proven track record in generating new business and driving revenue growth independently.
- Direct experience in Industrial Tank Cleaning, FSO/FPSO Decommission Cleaning, Plant Turnaround, or Shutdown Maintenance services.
- Strong network with PETRONAS, petrochemical companies, asset owners, and key industry stakeholders.
- Prior experience with PETRONAS, major petrochemical companies, or Tier-1 Main Contractors is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of the PETRONAS tendering ecosystem, including UPP, RFP processes, and relevant SWEC codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Additional Details
- Role covers business development activities across Johor and Melaka.
- Candidates must be willing to travel regularly within both regions.
- Successful candidate may be based in either Johor or Melaka, depending on preference and suitability.
