Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Development
- Monitor and support agency action plans to achieve key performance targets (KPIs).
- Address questions, concerns, and operational issues raised by insurance agents, and provide practical solutions.
- Provide guidance and corrective coaching to agency members who breach Company, industry, or regulatory guidelines, and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Motivate agency members to maintain strong morale and performance.
- Organize and support companywide activities, initiatives, and events.
- Continuously encourage agency members to recruit new agents.
- Support Agency Leaders in developing agents for promotion into future leadership roles.
Customer Service Development
- Participate in key customer service programmes to stay updated on product knowledge and systems.
- Work closely with branch staff to identify root causes and trends behind customer service issues, and propose effective solutions.
People Development
- Implement structured development programmes to support and retain new agents.
- Ensure training rooms, training centres, and related facilities and equipment in the assigned region are well maintained.
- Deliver quality training and support services to the agency workforce to enhance skills and performance.
Communication & Organisation Development
- Facilitate formal platforms such as meetings or briefings to share information and gather feedback from agency members.
- Support and assist with company launches, campaigns, and events.
- Communicate and motivate agency members by promoting company and regional initiatives, incentives, and campaigns.
- Organise engagement platforms to encourage teamwork and collaboration among agency members.
- Prepare and submit weekly plans and monthly activity reports.
Job Specification
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in business development, marketing, or sales.
- Experience in agency development (e.g. insurance, financial services, or sales teams) will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A serviceoriented mindset with a pleasant and professional personality.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
