Job Description

iSoftStone is a global leader in IT consulting and solutions, and we are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Malaysia. This is a pivotal role for an individual with a deep understanding of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) landscape, and a proven track record of selling complex solutions, particularly those related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP.

You will be responsible for driving our growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and acting as a key ambassador for our services within the Asia-Pacific market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Proactively identify, qualify, and develop a robust pipeline of new business opportunities within the Dynamics 365 and SAP ecosystems. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Solution Selling: Effectively articulate the value proposition of our ERP solutions and services. Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand client challenges and demonstrate how our expertise can deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, C-suite executives, and technical stakeholders to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Principal & Alliance Management: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key contacts and leadership at Microsoft and SAP to drive co-selling opportunities, access market insights, and ensure alignment on business objectives.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities in the Dynamics 365 and SAP space. Use this knowledge to develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our pre-sales, technical, delivery, and marketing teams to create compelling proposals, RFP responses, and presentations. Ensure a seamless client experience throughout the entire engagement.
  • Performance & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales and maintain up-to-date information in the company's CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365). Provide regular reports on pipeline health and sales activities to management.
  • Industry Presence: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand brand presence and generate leads.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of business development or sales experience, with a focus on enterprise software solutions.
  • Extensive experience selling and a deep understanding of both Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales quotas.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage and track sales activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP.
  • Prior experience in a consulting or services-based organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies in a competitive market.
