Our client is a fast-growing and well-established Odoo Gold Partner in APAC, helping companies transform their operations through ERP, automation, and business system integration.
With a strong delivery team and expanding regional footprint, they are now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to drive enterprise pipeline growth in Malaysia and the broader region.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for building and expanding the companys ERP consulting business by acquiring new clients, managing strategic accounts, and developing long-term partnerships.
You will work closely with solution consultants and delivery teams to turn business needs into ERP transformation projects.
This is a hunter + strategic seller role, suitable for someone experienced in ERP, SaaS, or IT consulting sales.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new enterprise and mid-market clients for Odoo ERP solutions
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing
- Build strong pipeline across industries such as manufacturing, retail, logistics, services, etc.
- Develop go-to-market strategies with leadership to expand regional presence
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Engage C-level stakeholders to understand operational pain points and digital transformation needs
- Work with solution consultants to craft tailored ERP proposals
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to expand account value
Market Expansion
- Track market trends, competitors, and ERP adoption patterns in Malaysia/APAC
- Represent the company in industry events, networking sessions, and partnerships
- Build channel relationships and referral pipelines
Requirements
- 5–10+ years experience in B2B sales / business development
- Strong preference for candidates from:
- ERP / Odoo / SAP / Microsoft Dynamics / Oracle NetSuite
- SaaS / IT consulting / system integration
- Proven track record closing mid-to-large deals
- Experience selling to senior stakeholders (Director/C-suite level)
- Strong commercial mindset and consultative selling skills
- Fluent English required; Mandarin or Bahasa is a plus
