Job Description
- Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities and developing strategic partnerships.
- Expand the customer base and generate new revenue streams across sustainability, recycling, resource recovery, and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead commercial negotiations, develop value propositions, and secure long-term business agreements.
- Develop and execute market expansion strategies across local and international markets.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of commercial objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team while driving a high-performance culture.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets through strategic planning and execution.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Environmental Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- MBA or other postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- 10 years of experience in business development, sales, commercial management, or strategic planning.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and expanding market presence.
- Experience within recycling, sustainability, environmental services, industrial, commodities, electronics manufacturing, or related sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong strategic planning, business development, and commercial management capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and key account management skills.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to build, coach, and manage high-performing teams.
- Commercially astute, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability, ESG frameworks, circular economy principles, and industrial markets would be advantageous.
