Role Description

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Senior Business Development Strategist (Senior Executive) to join our team and play a key role in driving business growth. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team, develop strategic partnerships, and contribute directly to achieving our sales targets.

As a Senior Executive, you will collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and execute effective sales strategies. You will be responsible for leading and guiding a team to ensure performance targets are met, while actively managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Your contributions will be essential in expanding our customer base and strengthening our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

 Business Development & Revenue Growth 

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities. 
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. 
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. 
  • Achieve individual revenue and conversion targets. 
  • Uplift team capability (role-plays, pitch reviews, deal clients).

 Own Revenue & Pipeline Health

  • Build, manage, and forecast the sales pipeline.
  • Ensure deal quality (right clients, right margins, right scope).
  • Track KPIs: leads, conversion rate, deal value, win rate.
  • Flag risks early and course-correct fast.

Account Ownership & Relationship Management (Strategic Accounts) 

  • Act as the primary commercial owner for assigned strategic accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. 
  • Understand client needs and propose relevant solutions. Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities.
  • Ensure client needs, scope, and expectations are aligned commercially. Support contract renewals, negotiations, and commercial discussions. 
  • Support smooth collaboration between clients and internal delivery teams.

Sales Strategy & Pitch Execution 

  • Contribute to the development of business development strategies and plans. 
  • Lead and support itch presentations and proposal development. 
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, and Ops teams to deliver strong client solutions to ensure pitch readiness.
  • Own win/loss analysis and continuously improve pitch effectiveness.

Market & Business Insights 

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market movements, and competitor activities. 
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential service offerings. 
  • Provide feedback from clients to support business and service improvement. 
  • Represent KCS in industry events, partnerships, and networking.

Job Requirements

  

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in Business Development or Sales (agency or related industries preferred). 
  • Proven track record in closing mid- to high-value deals.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a sales/BD team. 
  • Strong pitching, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
  • Commercially sharp with strong margin and pricing awareness. 
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
  • Wide connections to MNCs, GLCs, and Medium Enterprise companies related preferred.
