Your Role: Team Lead (Senior Campaign Manager) - Remote Malaysia
As the Team Lead, you will oversee and lead a regionally distributed campaign pod across APAC. While based in Malaysia, your team may include a Senior Campaign Manager in Indonesia, a Campaign Manager in the Philippines, and a Campaign Executive in Vietnam.
You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, team performance, and high-quality campaign delivery across multiple Southeast Asian markets.
Fabulate operates multiple campaign pods across the region, each led by a Team Lead. You will work closely with other Team Leads to ensure collaboration across clients, markets, and resources when required. This includes sharing best practices, balancing workloads across pods where necessary, and supporting cross-market or regional campaigns.
This role blends strategic team leadership with hands-on campaign execution. You will support your pod on active campaigns where required, act as a senior escalation point, and work closely with the Client Service Lead (SEA) to ensure regional alignment, resource balance, and consistent delivery standards.
Senior Campaign Managers within your pod will report into you, and you will report directly to the Client Service Lead – Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities:
Regional Pod Leadership & People Management
- Directly manage a cross-market APAC pod, which may include:
- Senior Campaign Manager (e.g., Malaysia)
- Campaign Manager (e.g., Philippines)
- Campaign Executive (e.g., Vietnam)
- Lead a remote, multicultural team with clarity, structure, and accountability.
- Balance workloads across markets to ensure efficiency and high-quality delivery.
- Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews and development planning for direct reports.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across time zones.
Cross-Pod & Regional Collaboration
- Partner closely with other Team Leads to:
- Share resources and rebalance capacity where needed
- Support regional or multi-market campaigns across pods
- Align on best practices and workflow consistency
- Contribute to a unified campaign management approach across APAC.
- Support knowledge sharing and capability uplift across teams.
- Collaborate with the Client Service Lead (SEA) to ensure consistency in standards, reporting, and delivery quality across all pods.
Campaign Oversight & Execution Support
- Oversee end-to-end execution of influencer and branded content campaigns across multiple APAC markets.
- Step in to support campaign delivery when needed, including:
- Campaign scoping and strategy refinement
- Influencer sourcing and vetting
- Content approvals and quality control
- Client communication support
- Performance reporting and optimisation
- Ensure creative output and influencer selection align with brand strategy and local cultural nuances.
- Maintain operational excellence across multiple concurrent campaigns.
- Review campaign performance and provide strategic insights to improve results.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a senior escalation point for campaign delivery challenges.
- Support key client relationships where strategic oversight is required.
- Provide regional market insights across SEA/APAC to strengthen campaign strategy.
- Ensure post-campaign reporting delivers actionable insights and long-term value.
- Collaborate with Account Directors and Client Service teams to ensure campaign execution aligns with broader client strategies.
Reporting Structure
- Senior Campaign Manager(s), Campaign Manager(s), and Campaign Executive(s) within the pod report into the Team Lead.
- The Team Lead reports directly to the Client Service Lead – Southeast Asia.
- The Team Lead works alongside other APAC Team Leads to collectively drive regional campaign excellence.
The Ideal Candidate
- 6–8 years of experience in influencer marketing, campaign management, or digital media.
- 2–4 years of experience leading or mentoring team members across markets.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-market influencer campaigns across SEA/APAC.
- Experience leading remote, cross-border teams.
- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian creator ecosystem and regional cultural nuances.
- Highly organised with strong operational oversight capabilities.
- Analytical and data-driven, comfortable using performance metrics to guide decisions.
- Strong collaborator who thrives in a matrixed, multi-team environment.
- Experience with influencer platforms (Fabulate, Tagger, Aspire, etc.) preferred.
