The Role

We are looking for a commercial-minded and consultative Senior Client Engagement Executive to join our energetic team. This is a hybrid role for a professional who thrives on balance: 60% of your focus will be on nurturing relationships with our existing top-tier clients, and 40% will be dedicated to identifying new capability gaps and business opportunities in the market.

You will act as a trusted advisor and the face of Thriving Talents to HR Directors and L&D Managers across SMEs, GLCs, and MNCs, helping them map their organizational pain points to our world-class learning interventions.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience specifically within Corporate Training, HR Consulting, Education Management, or Professional Services. You must understand the nuances of selling intangible services and human capital strategies.
  • Target Audience Expertise: Proven track record of selling directly to HR/L&D departments and navigating complex procurement processes (especially within GLCs and MNCs).
  • Track Record: Proven history of meeting consulting/sales targets and managing high-value client accounts.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools (such as Zoho CRM).
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding consultative communication, active listening, and presentation skills. You must be a proactive problem solver who can diagnose organizational needs.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail when crafting proposals and training blueprints.

Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Consultative Selling (40%)

  • Identify and engage L&D and HR Directors within SMEs, GLCs, and MNCs to conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and uncover capability gaps.
  • Utilize a highly consultative sales approach to map client pain points to our leadership, team building, and sales development curriculums.
  • Pitch and present tailored learning solutions to new prospects, converting them into long-term partners.
  • Navigate the nuances of selling to different sectors (e.g., formal procurement processes for GLCs vs. agile decision-making in SMEs).

2. Account Management & Retention (60%)

  • Build strong, trusting, advisor-level relationships with existing clients to ensure high retention and repeat business.
  • Provide superior client servicing and ensure satisfaction throughout the entire training delivery lifecycle.
  • Design and propose customized learning journeys and new modules to existing clients based on their evolving workforce needs.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, and R&D departments to ensure the seamless deployment of our training solutions.
  • Collaborate with R&D by providing on-the-ground market feedback and HR trends to aid in the development of innovative new training modules.
  • Support the team with other strategic responsibilities as required.
