Senior Corporate Secretarial Executive, Accounting & Tax / Manager (Cross-Border)

Location: Work from Home – Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Job Overview:

A professional advisory firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to manage a portfolio of Singapore-based clients. This role will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting, tax, and corporate secretarial functions while ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations and reporting standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling Singapore company portfolios within a professional services environment and be comfortable working independently in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle full set of accounts for Singapore-incorporated companies in accordance with SFRS for Small Entities.
  • Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll calculations, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Prepare and review Singapore corporate tax computations, including Form C-S / Form C-S Lite submissions.
  • Handle Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) submissions and quarterly GST filings.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory and tax-related filings in compliance with Singapore regulations.
  • Manage the full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties for Singapore entities.
  • Prepare board resolutions, annual resolutions, share transfer documentation, and statutory registers.
  • Perform e-filings with ACRA, including Annual Returns and changes to company information or officers.
  • Liaise directly with clients, auditors, and regulatory authorities in Singapore.
  • Provide professional support and guidance on compliance-related matters.
  • Ensure all deadlines under the Singapore Companies Act and Income Tax Act are met.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience handling Singapore company portfolios within a professional services firm.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards, corporate tax, and corporate secretarial practices.
  • Proficient in cloud accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, AutoCount, or similar platforms.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote working environment.

  • Experience supporting cross-border business operations and regional clients.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple portfolios simultaneously.
