Senior Cloud Architect & Implementation Lead

About the role:

• Looking for a Senior Cloud Architect & Implementation Lead to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our cloud ecosystem. You won't just be drawing diagrams.
• You will be the primary driver behind the deployment, automation, and security of our high-scale environments.
• This is a 100% on-site role designed for a leader who thrives on immediate collaboration, whiteboarding complex problems in real-time, and mentoring a high-performing local team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the design of resilient, auto-scaling, and cost-optimized architectures on [AWS/Azure/GCP].
• Hands-on Implementation: Take full ownership of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Strategy: Manage the integration between our on-premise data centers and cloud environments to ensure seamless data flow and low latency.
• Platform Engineering:Build and maintain internal developer platforms using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) to accelerate deployment cycles.
• Security & Compliance: Embed Secure-by-Design principles, managing IAM, Zero-Trust networking, and encryption protocols.
• FinOps & Governance:Monitor cloud consumption and implement automated cost-saving measures (Right-sizing, Spot instances, Savings Plans).
• On-site Leadership: Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders and provide immediate, face-to-face mentorship to junior engineers.

Job Requirements:

• Professional experience in Cloud Engineering or Architecture roles.
• Cloud Platforms: Expert-level command of Azure/AWS and familiarity with multi-cloud environments.
• Containerization: Deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration at production scale.
• Automation: Proven track record of building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for custom automation and tooling.
• Networking: Strong understanding of VPCs, BGP routing,VPNs, and Load Balancing.
