Commercial Senior Executive
Symphony Confection Sdn Bhd is looking for a passionate and driven Commercial Senior Executive to join our growing team. If you enjoy working across retail, distributors, marketing activations, and events, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in expanding our brands across Malaysia.
Key ResponsibilitiesRetail & Distributor Management
- Ensure SKU availability, pricing accuracy, promotional execution, and secondary displays at retail outlets.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and retail partners.
- Monitor distributor and retail inventory levels to ensure healthy stock availability.
- Track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with retail buyers on promotion planning and negotiation.
- Identify and secure new listing opportunities.
- Plan POSM and GWP requirements for retail campaigns.
Retail Activation & Trade Marketing
- Plan and execute in-store promotions and retail activations.
- Coordinate with agencies for activation preparation and execution.
- Align internally on product allocation, packing requirements, POSM, and project timelines.
- Ensure all campaigns are executed according to schedule.
Events & Exhibitions
- Plan exhibition and event setups, including layout, product display, manpower, and logistics.
- Supervise setup and dismantling to ensure smooth execution.
- Be present during events to resolve operational issues when required.
Marketing Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Contribute creative ideas to increase brand awareness and consumer engagement.
- Support cross-functional projects that strengthen retail presence and drive sales.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in FMCG, retail, sales, trade marketing, or commercial roles.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with excellent project coordination abilities.
- Able to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
- Willing to travel within Klang Valley and occasionally across Malaysia for retail visits and events.
- Possess a valid driving license and own transportation.
