What you'll be doing
- Content Strategy Development: Plan and implement content strategies aligned with business goals.
- Content Creation: Produce and publish engaging content across various social media platforms, including text, images, and videos (internally & externally).
- Community Management: Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community using the determined Brand Voice.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics and analyse performance to optimize strategies and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices to keep the company's social media presence relevant and effective.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to manage the company's social platform reputation, coordinate marketing efforts, and ensure brand consistency.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Marketing Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and their unique algorithms.
- Excellent copywriting and visual content creation skills, with the ability to develop compelling, on-brand social media posts.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret social media metrics and use data to inform strategy.
- Good photography skills and a strong visual eye, with experience shooting and curating tasteful, on-brand images for social media will be a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with digital advertising and paid social media campaigns is an added advantage, but not a prerequisite.
- Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to develop innovative content creation ideas.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
